I'm going to be a rough on this one. Hope you don't mind :). I'm assuming your intended subject is the hawk and the island since that's the title :). Visually the subject unclear. Both objects are very small and insignificant in the background. Also the horizon is right down the middle of the frame. This image is not really communicating very much to the viewer.
